Hendrick is committed to protecting our patients, visitors and healthcare providers against the spread of COVID-19. Thank you for your patience, support and loyalty as our healthcare teams have worked tirelessly at the forefront of the COVID-19 pandemic locally.
For the safety of our community, Hendrick is proceeding cautiously and we ask that you continue to practice safe and healthy prevention methods inside our facilities.
COVID-19 Screening
All visitors and patients will be asked COVID-19 screening assessment questions
at designated entry points. This screening is based on CDC guidelines
for identifying respiratory illnesses, including coronavirus.
Symptoms of COVID-19:
Hendrick continues working to make sure all care sites are clean and safe. Added precautionary cleaning activities include:
All patients, visitors and staff are required to wear the appropriate form of personal protection equipment, covering the nose and mouth. Cloth coverings or masks will be available for individuals if they do not have one.
Hand Sanitizing Stations - sanitizing stations are located at entry screening points. Please use these upon arrival and departure while also practicing good hand hygiene for the duration of your visit.
* Exceptions may apply for pediatrics and end-of-life.
All Hendrick facilities, including waiting rooms, will adhere to safe social distancing – individuals to keep at least six feet apart from others.
Pre-screening for Surgery Patients - Prior to surgeries or complex procedures, patients will be screened for COVID-19. If deemed appropriate by the physician, a patient may also be required to undergo COVID-19 testing.
Visitation – Hendrick will continue to limit the number of visitors to two people per patient. Anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 or is awaiting test results, will not be allowed to visit patients or accompany patients undergoing surgeries or procedures.
Masks and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – All patients, visitors and staff are required to wear the appropriate form of personal protection equipment, covering the nose and mouth. Cloth coverings or masks will be available for individuals if they do not have one. If you have a mask, please bring it with you to wear in our facilities.
Hendrick telehealth capabilities have expanded, and access to many of your physicians and specialists is now available. Our healthcare providers have implemented additional safety precautions in their offices. For more information and available appointment options, contact your doctor directly. Please do not delay seeking medical care or important follow-up care.
As our healthcare services resume, we want to reassure you that all Hendrick care sites are safe and prepared to provide you with quality and safe patient-focused care.
