Hendrick Health announces new chief administrative officer for physician practice groups

Hendrick Health is pleased to welcome Ron Holder, MHA, FACMPE, FACHE, as chief administrative officer for Hendrick Clinic and Hendrick Anesthesia Network.
Holder came to Abilene with 29 years of medical practice leadership experience, most recently at the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) in Denver, where he had served as chief operating officer for five years. His achievements at MGMA include driving revenue growth and launching multiple new products to support MGMA’s 60,000 members across 15,000 healthcare organizations. During his tenure, he was recognized in 2021 by Denver Business Journal as one of the top C-suite executives in the Denver metropolitan area.

Holder’s extensive experience in medical practices and hospital operations includes 15 years at Baylor Scott & White Health in Temple, Texas. From 2011 to 2019, he was vice president of operations for the Temple region, leading strategic, operational and financial management for 235 physicians, 85 advanced practice professionals and 750 support staff across 47 clinic and hospital procedural sites. He first joined the Temple healthcare system in 2004 as an administrator for the Department of Surgery.
Holder graduated from University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky, with a bachelor’s degree in biology and a master’s degree in health administration.
