Hendrick Health announces new vice president and general counsel

Hendrick Health is pleased to welcome Christie G. Eckhardt, JD, as vice president and general counsel for the healthcare system. With an extensive background in healthcare law, Eckhardt most recently served as vice president and chief operations counsel at Mercy Health in St. Louis. She provided legal direction and system-level leadership to the hospital and clinical team in 45 hospitals, 900 clinics and outpatient facilities located in five states.

Prior to her time at Mercy Health, Eckhardt practiced healthcare law with several healthcare organizations across the state of Missouri.

Eckhardt graduated cum laude from Loyola University New Orleans with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She obtained her juris doctorate degree with honors from The University of Tulsa College of Law in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
