Dr. Rufus Mark Departure Notice

Rufus Mark, MD, has resigned from Hendrick Walker Cancer Center and will no longer provide medical care to patients at the Walker Cancer Center location of 1501 Burnett Road in Brownwood, effective April 4, 2023.  

Patients may choose to continue radiation treatments with another radiation oncologist at Hendrick Walker Cancer Center in Brownwood, and there will be no interruption of treatments.  

Patients choosing a provider outside of Hendrick Walker Cancer Center, may obtain medical records from Hendrick Medical Center Brownwood’s Health Information Management Department by calling 325-649-3400.
