Hendrick Clinic welcomes Jonathan Urbanczyk, DO

Hendrick Health welcomes Jonathan Urbanczyk, DO, to our Hendrick Clinic Cardiology team. Dr. Urbanczyk received his bachelor’s degree from McMurry University and went to medical school at The University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. He completed his residency and cardiovascular disease fellowship at Baylor Scott and White Temple Memorial Hospital in Temple.

“I worked as a technician in the cardiac cath lab at Hendrick Medical Center during my undergrad. This experience motivated me to become an interventional cardiologist. After leaving for 11 years of excellent training, I’m excited to be coming home to serve the people of Abilene and the surrounding area.”

Dr. Urbanczyk is a fellowship-trained interventional cardiologist specializing in treating diseases of the cardiovascular system. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, adult echocardiography and vascular ultrasound interpretation.
