Hendrick moves COVID-19 Community Safety Dial to Level 2: Concern
Hendrick Health has moved its COVID-19 Community Safety Dial to Level 2: Concern, after the community active cases and the number of COVID-19 positive hospitalizations have drastically declined. Beginning March 7, the Safety Dial will be reported once a week on Wednesdays.
Hendrick will continue universal masking for visitors and staff throughout all its facilities, regardless of vaccination status.
The recent changes in Hendrick Health’s visitation policies will remain in place. They include:
- Two visitors per non-COVID patient in the facility at a time, with greater restrictions in some areas (Surgery, NICU, etc.).
- Each visitor is required to be screened and check-in at the screening stations.
- Masks must be worn in all Hendrick facilities, regardless of vaccination status.
- Visitors under the age of 18 are permitted for non-COVID patients and must be accompanied by an adult chaperone.
Hendrick Health encourages eligible individuals to get vaccinated. For more information about the vaccine, visit vaccine.gov.
