Hendrick moves COVID-19 Community Safety Dial to Level 3: High Risk

Today, Hendrick Health moved its COVID-19 Community Safety Dial to Level 3: High Risk. The CDC Transmission Level has increased to moderate transmission level for Taylor and Brown Counties, triggering Hendrick to increase the Safety Dial to Level 3. The change will not affect current visitation or masking policies in Hendrick facilities.

The COVID-19 Community Safety Dial serves as an indicator of the spread of COVID-19 in the area. The level is moved based on a combination of risk elements, including the CDC Transmission Level, current hospitalization rates, ICU admissions and the number of Hendrick employees in quarantine.

Hendrick continues to encourage individuals to keep themselves and others around them healthy by getting vaccinated, practicing good hand hygiene, staying home when ill and getting tested.

The COVID-19 Community Safety Dial will be posted once a week for Levels 1-3.
