Hendrick Health moves COVID-19 Community Safety Dial to Level 3
Today, Hendrick Health moved its COVID-19 Community Safety Dial down to Level 3, while also changing the category name for Level 3 from Severe to Moderate. With the creation of the CDC’s Community Levels degrees of transmission, the change to Level 3: Moderate more closely aligns with the CDC’s levels.
At Level 3, visitation and masking are relaxed at all Hendrick facilities.
- Visitors will not be required to check-in at screening/check-in stations.
- By entering a Hendrick facility, visitors attest that they have not had contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 or thought to have COVID-19 in the last 10 days, are not displaying symptoms of COVID-19, and are not waiting on COVID-19 test results nor have been diagnosed with an active COVID-19 infection.
- Visitors under the age of 16 are permitted if accompanied by an adult chaperone.
- Two (2) visitors per patient room. Patients can have an unlimited number of visitors within the facility.
- COVID-19 patient visitation – one (1) visitor per patient (PPE required) in the facility at a time.
- Coffee shops, gift shops and waiting rooms are open to visitors and the public.
- Some patient care areas may have additional visitation restrictions, including patients diagnosed with or under investigation for COVID-19.
In addition, in-person support groups may now meet in facilities, if deemed appropriate
