Hendrick COVID-19 Community Safety Dial moves to Level 4: Severe
Hendrick announced today that it will decrease the COVID-19 Community Safety Dial to Level 4: Severe, effective today. The change is based on the seven-day community positivity rate and the case-count in the hospital.
Updated visitation restrictions include:
- Two (2) visitors per non-COVID patient in the facility at a time, with greater restrictions in some areas (Emergency, Surgery, NICU, etc.). Each visitor is required to be screened and check-in at the screening stations.
- Visitors under the age of 18 are permitted for non-COVID patients and must be accompanied by an adult chaperone.
All other visitation policies remain in place.
Hendrick will continue universal masking for all visitors and staff throughout all its facilities, regardless of vaccination status.
COVID-19 vaccines are the best form of defense against COVID-19 and its variants and have been proven effective at preventing hospitalization and severe illness. Hendrick Health strongly encourages all eligible persons to get vaccinated, as soon as possible. For more information about the vaccine, visit vaccine.gov.
