Hendrick Health offers free assistance with Marketplace health plan enrollment

Hendrick Health is encouraging community members who are currently without health insurance to enroll in a health plan using the HealthCare.gov platform. With more than 16 percent of Taylor County residents uninsured, Hendrick is offering assistance to those who need help navigating through the Affordable Care Act’s (ACA) Health Insurance Marketplace.

To schedule an appointment with one of Hendrick Health’s enrollment guidance counselors, call 325-670-4031. Appointments are required.

The Marketplace is a service that helps people shop for and enroll in affordable health insurance. The federal government operates the Marketplace and provides health plan shopping and enrollment services through websites, call centers and in-person assistance.

Open enrollment for ACA’s Health Insurance Marketplace is Nov. 1, 2021 – Jan. 15, 2022.
