Hendrick welcomes Dr. Avery Smith

Hendrick Health is pleased to welcome Avery Smith, M.D., to our gastroenterology team. Dr. Smith completed his bachelor's degree in biology at The University of Texas of the Permian Basin. He then went on to Texas A&M College of Medicine and graduated with high honors. His residency and fellowship was performed in Dallas at Baylor University Medical Center, and his fellowship focused on gastroenterology and hepatology, including advanced endoscopy.

Dr. Smith is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, the Texas Medical Association, and the American College of Gastroenterology.
