Hendrick welcomes Dr. Rajendran

Helping Patients Steer through Tough Times - Prejith Rajendran, MD - Nephrology

Hendrick Health is proud to welcome the newest physician to our nephrology team, Prejith Rajendran, MD. Dr. Rajendran completed his medical education at the Academy of Medical Sciences, in Pariyaram, India, and Kannur University in Kerala, India. Dr. Rajendran served as research associate at North Shore Long Island Jewish Medical Center Renal Transplant Program and completed a residency in internal medicine at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in Elmhurst, New York. Following his residency, Dr. Rajendran moved to Houston for a nephrology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine, Texas Medical Center. 

“As medicine becomes more dependent on technology, we find ourselves communicating less with our patients. I make a conscious effort to communicate better, answer questions and hopefully have a positive effect on my patients’ lives," remarked Dr. Rajendran.
