Hendrick welcomes Dr. Khalife

Expertise in Oncology Care – Mustapha Khalife, MD, Hematology/Oncology

Hendrick Health is proud to welcome Dr. Mustapha Khalife to Hendrick Cancer Center.

“I was drawn to medicine because of my desire to help people in need,” said Dr. Khalife. “The continuous changes and progress happening in the field of oncology allow me to provide the best care possible for my patients.”

Dr. Khalife received his medical degree at The American University of Beirut in Lebanon and completed his internal medicine residency and oncology fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, where he was awarded Fellow of the Year. Dr. Khalife trained with Dr. Jose Vega, medical director for Hendrick Cancer Center, and is excited to work with an old friend.

Dr. Khalife has published multiple works on radiation therapy and immunotherapy, head and neck cancers and breast cancer. He is a member of the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
