Hendrick Health welcomes Claudia Gomez, MD, to Abilene. Dr. Gomez completed her bachelor’s degree in biology at Baylor University before earning her medical degree at Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara School of Medicine in Mexico. She completed a pre-internship at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, as well as a pediatric residency at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in El Paso.
“I enjoy pediatrics because children are incredibly resilient. Seeing them get better and thrive is so rewarding,” said Dr. Gomez.
As a mother of two, Dr. Gomez understands the concerns of parents firsthand. She looks forward to being in Abilene and building relationships with families and patients, always advocating for the wellbeing of children.
