About Wendi

Wendi began her nursing career in 2002 as a labor and delivery nurse in The BirthPlace at Hendrick. After completing her Master of Science in Nursing, Nurse-Midwifery program from the University of Cincinnati, she began practicing as a certified nurse-midwife for Hendrick Clinic Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2016. She has since completed her Doctorate in Nursing Practice at The University of Texas at Arlington.

Wendi is an advance practice registered nurse and certified nurse-midwife (CNM) licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing. With physician support, Wendi helps women take ownership of their health by educating and empowering them to make decisions that will improve their lives.

When working with expectant mothers, she focuses on shared decision-making to allow her patients to help guide the birthing process while providing evidence-based obstetrical care.
