About Udaya

Udaya Swarna, MD, is board certified in cardiovascular disease and clinical electrophysiology and is a valued member of Hendrick Clinic Cardiology who has earned the trust and respect of his patients.

He received his medicine and surgery degrees at J.J.M. Medical College in Davangere, India, where he also completed an internship in internal medicine. Dr. Swarna then completed a second internship in internal medicine at Wayne State College in Michigan. Additional specialized training followed with a fellowship in clinical cardiac electrophysiology and pacing at Baylor College of Medicine and a fellowship in electrophysiology at Philadelphia Heart Institute in Pennsylvania.
