About Ren

Ren Zhang, MD, PhD, is board certified in cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine and holds additional certifications in adult echocardiogram and nuclear cardiology.

He earned a medical degree from Peking Union Medical College in Beijing, China. Dr. Zhang completed his residency in internal medicine at St. Vincent Catholic Medical Center in New York and performed a fellowship in cardiology at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. Additionally, Dr. Zhang earned a doctoral degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine’s Department of Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology in Florida.

Dr. Zhang specializes in diagnosis and treatment of diseases and conditions related to the cardiovascular system. He provides services such as cardiovascular preventative care, inpatient acute cardiovascular care and non-invasive cardiac testing including stress testing, echocardiography and vascular imaging.
