Jose Vega, MD, completed his residency and fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.

“Initially, I decided to go into medicine to understand how the human body works, but this was replaced by the desire to help people who are suffering. My favorite part of my job is having the opportunity to touch lives and be touched by my patients’ experiences, as well,” Vega said.

As a hematology/oncology physician, Dr. Vega specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and management of cancer. 

Dr. Vega is fluent in English and Spanish.
