About Gorman

Gorman Thorp, MD, is a cardiologist at Hendrick Clinic Cardiology with more than 40 years of experience. He received his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He completed an internship, residency and fellowship at Scott & White Medical Center (now Baylor Scott & White Health) in Temple.

Dr. Thorp specializes in diagnosis and treatment of diseases and conditions related to the cardiovascular system. He provides services such as cardiovascular preventative care, inpatient acute cardiovascular care and non-invasive cardiac testing including stress testing, echocardiography and vascular imaging.
