About Evan

Evan Hardegree, MD, started his academic studies in Abilene at Abilene Christian University. He then received his medical degree at Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine. His internal medicine residency was done at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and he completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Scott and White Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Hardegree specializes in diagnosis and treatment of diseases and conditions related to the cardiovascular system. He provides services such as cardiovascular preventative care, inpatient acute cardiovascular care and non-invasive cardiac testing including stress testing, echocardiography and vascular imaging.

"After years of training and practicing in some of the best medical institutions in the country, I have learned that there is no place like home," said Hardegree. "As a native Abilenian, I am excited to bring compassionate, cutting-edge medical care to the community that shaped me.
