About Derek

Derek Moore, MD, received his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical School in Houston. He completed his residency at the University of Massachusetts-Baystate and his fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

"After 14 years of training, I am excited to be back in my hometown. I look forward to sharing the skills and experience I learned in my residency, research and fellowship with the Big Country," said Dr. Moore.

Dr. Moore specializes in surgical procedures on the heart, lung and other thoracic organs.
