About Benton

Dr. Brown is a board-certified general surgeon with extensive experience in robotic surgery. He is also one of the most experienced surgeons in the country for the LINX® Reflux Management System procedure for patients diagnosed with Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD).

"My own experience as a cancer survivor led me to become a general surgeon with LINX expertise, and it taught me how important a positive environment and a supportive healthcare team are to the healing process," said Dr. Brown.

Dr. Brown received his medical degree and completed his surgical residency at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. His mission work has taken him to Africa, Central America and the Middle East, and he is excited to continue practicing in his home state of Texas.
