CPR Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Hendrick Health is an approved Training Center under the American Heart Association and offers Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers for licensed professionals and healthcare students.

This certification includes online training completed by the learner through AHA prior to scheduling a skills check-off during one of our Blitz sessions held monthly.

The Basic Life Support CPR course is designed for all healthcare professionals. This certification must be renewed every two years. This certification is obtained by completing an online training portion through the American Heart Association website (HeartCode® BLS | AHA), then scheduling a time to attend a hands-on skills check-off session held monthly to obtain your card.

More advanced life support courses offered to Hendrick Health staff and healthcare professionals include Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). For these specific class dates and times, please email education@hendrickhealth.org.
