Hendrick Health System earns 11th Great Workplace Award for employee engagement
Hendrick Health System has received the Gallup Great Workplace Award for the 11th consecutive year, earning the distinction with only two other companies worldwide. Hendrick Health System, ABC Supply Co. and Winegardner & Hammons Hotel Group have each earned this distinction since the award was first introduced in 2006. Thirty-seven leading organizations earned this year’s top honors, with Hendrick as one of seven healthcare industry leaders.

The Great Workplace Award was created to recognize organizations for their extraordinary ability to create engaged workplace cultures that drive business outcomes. Hendrick Health System joins a prestigious group of organizations that average a ratio of 14 engaged employees to one actively disengaged employee, which is more than seven times what Gallup found in nationally representative U.S. polling. This ratio is also more than 21 times what Gallup found in nationally representative polling in 142 countries worldwide.

A panel of Gallup workplace experts evaluates applicants and assesses them against criteria established by the most comprehensive workplace study ever conducted. The top organizations selected gain entry into an elite group of companies that have received the Gallup Great Workplace Award.
